This policy should be read together with our Terms of Service, which also refer to withdrawal and returns for consumers.
2. Scope
This Return Policy describes your right to withdraw from a distance or off-premises contract (as defined in Directive 2011/83/EU and in Book 7 of the Dutch Civil Code) and to return products purchased through our website volkrannphodlarn.ddd. It applies to consumers (natural persons acting for purposes which are outside their trade, business, craft, or profession) in the Netherlands and, where we sell to them, in other European Union member states. Business customers (traders, professionals, or legal persons) should contact us before ordering for applicable terms; different conditions may apply to B2B sales, including in relation to withdrawal, returns, and warranties.
This policy supplements (and should be read together with) our Terms of Service, which contain general provisions on orders, delivery, and liability. In the event of any conflict between this Return Policy and the Terms of Service in relation to your statutory withdrawal or return rights as a consumer, the provisions that are more favourable to you shall apply, to the extent permitted by law.
3. Right of withdrawal (14-day cooling-off period)
If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
Withdrawal period: The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party you have designated (other than the carrier), take physical possession of the goods. If you ordered multiple goods in one order that are delivered separately, the period expires 14 days after the day on which you (or the third party) take physical possession of the last item. If a good is delivered in several lots or pieces, the period expires 14 days after the day on which you (or the third party) take physical possession of the last lot or piece.
Exercising the right of withdrawal: To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement. You may:
- Send an email to: contact@volkrannphodlarn.world, stating that you wish to withdraw from the contract and, if possible, your order number and the product(s) concerned; or
- Send a letter by post to: Volkrannphodlarn, Leidsestraat 74-76, 1017 GM Amsterdam, Netherlands, with the same information.
You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not mandatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your communication before the 14-day period has expired.

4. Effects of withdrawal and return of goods
If you withdraw from the contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except for any additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery we offer), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
Return of the goods: You must send back the goods or hand them over to us or to a person authorised by us to receive them without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal. The deadline is met if you dispatch the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling of them other than what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent them back, whichever is the earliest.
Direct costs of returning the goods: You shall bear the direct cost of returning the goods. We do not charge a fee for processing the withdrawal itself. If the product was delivered to you by us, we may offer to arrange collection at your expense; we will inform you of the cost if applicable.
5. Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
Under Dutch and EU consumer law, the right of withdrawal does not apply in certain cases. For example, it does not apply to:
- Goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised.
- Goods which are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly (e.g. certain perishable goods).
- Sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons if they were unsealed after delivery.
Our products (e.g. Wellivara) are sealed for hygiene and safety. If you have unsealed the product and used part of it, we may still accept the return at our discretion (e.g. for unused, unopened items), but we are not legally obliged to accept returns of unsealed hygiene-sensitive goods. If you are unsure whether your product can be returned, please contact us before sending it back.
6. Defective or incorrect products
If the product you received is defective, not as described, or not what you ordered, you have statutory rights under Dutch and EU consumer law (including Book 7 of the Dutch Civil Code and the Consumer Rights Directive). These rights may include the right to repair or replacement (at no cost to you), the right to a price reduction, or the right to rescind the contract and receive a refund. The exact remedy may depend on the nature of the defect and whether it is minor or major. We may ask you to provide evidence of the defect (e.g. photos or a short description) so that we can assess the situation and offer the appropriate solution.
In such cases, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number, a description of the issue, and (if possible) photos of the product and packaging. We will work with you to resolve the matter without undue delay. If the product is defective or incorrect (e.g. wrong item sent), we will normally cover the cost of return shipping; we will confirm this when you contact us. You are not required to use the 14-day withdrawal procedure for defective or non-conforming goods; your statutory rights for lack of conformity apply in addition to (and may extend beyond) the withdrawal period.
7. How to send a return
To return a product:
- Contact us (email or phone) to inform us of your withdrawal or return and to receive instructions if needed.
- Pack the product securely so that it is not damaged in transit. If possible, use the original packaging.
- Send the package to: Volkrannphodlarn, Leidsestraat 74-76, 1017 GM Amsterdam, Netherlands. We recommend using a tracked delivery service and keeping proof of posting.
- Include your name, order number, and (if applicable) the reason for the return in the package or in your email so we can process the return quickly.
We will confirm receipt of the returned goods and process the refund in accordance with section 4. If you have not received a refund within the stated time, first check your bank or payment account, then contact us.
8. Refund method and timing
Refunds will be made using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise (e.g. a different payment method or store credit). You will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. We will process the refund without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw (for withdrawal) or from the day we receive the goods back or evidence of their return, whichever is the earliest. For defective or non-conforming products, the refund period may be governed by the applicable statutory rules.
Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take additional time (e.g. 5–10 business days) for the refund to appear in your account or on your statement. If you have not received the refund within the stated time, first check your bank or payment account and any spam or junk folders for notifications; then contact us with your order number and the date of your withdrawal or return, and we will investigate.
9. Partial returns and multiple items
If you ordered multiple items in a single order and wish to withdraw only in respect of some of them, you may do so: the right of withdrawal applies to each item (or to the contract as a whole, at your choice). If you withdraw in respect of only part of the order, we will reimburse the amount corresponding to the product(s) you have returned, plus a proportionate share of the delivery costs if you had paid for delivery and the partial return does not leave you with a remaining order that would have qualified for free delivery. If you withdraw from the entire contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you as set out in section 4.
If you received a product as part of a bundle or promotion (e.g. buy one get one, or a gift with purchase), and you withdraw from the contract, we may require you to return the entire bundle or the gift as applicable, or we may deduct the value of the non-returned item from the refund where permitted by law. We will inform you when you contact us to withdraw.
10. Damaged or lost returns
We recommend that you send returns using a tracked delivery service and that you keep proof of posting until we have confirmed receipt. If the return is lost or damaged in transit, we may not be able to process the refund until we have received the goods or until the carrier has confirmed loss or damage. If you have used a tracked service, we can often trace the parcel and resolve the issue more quickly. If the goods are lost in transit on the way back to us, please contact us and we will work with you and the carrier to resolve the matter; depending on the circumstances, we may still process the refund once we have verified the situation.
